Lars Tornøe has been working with furniture and product design since 2006. He collaborates with renowned manufacturers in various product categories, which include: Muuto (you've probably seen The Dots), Vestre, Fora Form, Figgjo and now also the Legacy. THE DESIGNER BEHIND PINCH

Lars became acquainted with the legacy through two assignments for Bocuse d´Or, the world's most prestigious chef competition. He was tasked with drawing the parts that the food was to be presented on and the heritage had been chosen as the producer of the silver details. In the wake of the competition, we wanted to continue the collaboration and create a product that is suitable for production in slightly larger numbers. The result was Pinch, a set of small, personal cups for salt and pepper that can of course also be used for other spices. The small bowls are designed to use your fingers to grab a pinch. salt and linger over the food.

Monstera is an asymmetric silverware cutlery inspired by unfinished sketches from the 50s as designer Lars Beller Fjetland found in the archives of the legacy. Monstera is made of sterling silver, 925s, and feels good to stay in. Fair. The cutlery was also nominated for the Bo Bedes design award in 2016.

THE DESIGNER BEHIND MONSTERA

Lars Beller Fjetland's philosophy as a designer is deeply rooted in his upbringing in the west; a penchant for nature's raw materials designed in a functionalist expression characterizes the designer's approach. The core of his philosophy is the desire to create both a timeless expression and lasting products. In 2011, he opened his own studio in Bergen, and the following year came the breakthrough with the launch of four products at the annual Salone Del Mobile fair in Milan. In the years 2012 - 2018, Lars Beller Fjetland has won both Norwegian and international awards for his work.
